  My family came to Sovereign Grace 10 years ago. We lived an hour away at the time. Because of the wonderful Bible-centered teaching and the loving community, our lives have been transformed. Our marriage has been turned around and our children are growing.
  
  We find ourselves in need of God's grace everyday, and we have received it here. The leaders are among the most humble, godly men we have ever met.
  
  We moved to Roanoke to be near the church and the community, and we have never regretted it.

  Great place. Great worship, meaty expository preaching, family centered. The people are very friendly. I think most of them realize they're no better than anyone else. But they also realize that by trusting Jesus, they are forgiven and accepted by God, and this gives them great joy and humility. Highly recommended if you're seeking a place to find God, worship, learn a lot, and grow.

  My wife and I joined SGCC in 2005 after looking for a church where the children's program was something we could feel good about (we were newly weds w/o kids at the time). What we found was so much more! I felt like I was hearing the Gospel again for the first time, and learned many ways to apply it to my daily life. Through this church, God has changed out lives, our marriage, and our life focus. I can't recommend it more highly.

  WARNING: CHILD predator alert ! The Sovereign Grace Family of churches has gone to great effort to distract from the FACTS that several of their churches have STAFF members currently in PRISON after being convicted of sexual crimes against children. This spans many years and several churches. Unfortunately the leadership of SGM sought to obstruct police investigations and threatened church discipline when parents went to the authorities instead of cooperating with the cover - up.
  
  This is a very contriving cult like group. Please do your research before taking your children here. They aren't safe here. Google Sovereign Grace survivors and Sovereign Grace lawsuit for starters. God Bless you in your search for truth and a safe church home. THIS IS NOT the place for children. Way too many convictions.
